Timings: 09:30 – 17:30
Course Content: Teaching theory and styles, the principles of instruction, lesson planning, use of questions and visual aids. Course preparation, student progression and the structure of the RYA scheme. The course cost includes all equipment, pre-assessment, certificates, literature, and accommodation for the full 4 days.
Ability after the Course: You will be qualified to teach RYA Powerboat Level 1 & 2. If you have a Safety Boat certificate then you will also be able to teach the RYA Safety Boat courses. This is valid for five years from the date of issue provided that a valid first aid is maintained.

Prior Experience: Five seasons of experience powerboating logged or one full season for those who use powerboats as an integral part of their normal full-time occupation.
Pre-Requisites: First Aid, RYA Powerboat Level 2 and a Health Declaration form or Medical questionnaire.
