Minimum Age: 8. Those under 16 years old will be given an endorsed certificate.
Duration: 1 Day
Timings: 09:30 – 17:30
Prior Experience: No prior experience needed.
Course Materials Provided: None.
Pre-Reading: None required.
Max Instructor / Student Ratio: 1 : 3
Exam Type / Duration: Assessed continuously throughout the course.
Course Content: This course covers the basic powerboat handling and theory including coming alongside and leaving, picking up and leaving a mooring buoy and towing.
Ability after the Course: Can drive a powerboat up to 10 meters in length in daylight conditions, under supervision.
